Choose the format for the reader
| What you want | Try |
|---|---|
| Text and pictures in one continuous sequence | A long image |
| A lot of text in smaller reading units | Pages |
| Text the other person can copy or edit | Text sharing |
An image keeps the layout together. Text is more useful for quoting and editing. Some destinations resize long images, so check the result in the app you plan to send it through.
Keep the whole photo
A portrait photo should not lose half its height just to fit a fixed sheet. Check its top and bottom edges, proportions and orientation, not only how the page looks.
In Noppima, a long image grows with the note. In page mode, a photo stays on the current page; that page grows if it needs more room. The photo is not cut in half or squeezed to fit, and subsequent text follows the page layout.
Save it first, or send it now
- Open the note's share preview. It starts in long-image mode; you can switch to pages.
- Scroll to the end. Check the final lines, photo orientation and the difference between the title and body text.
- Save to your gallery, or choose image sharing to open the system share sheet.
- After saving, select the image from your gallery in a messaging or social app. The reader does not need Noppima.
The preview, saved image and image share use the same generated layout. A receiving app may still compress or resize the file.
An image is for reading, not editing
To take editable content into another tool, use the open export with Markdown and ordinary image files instead. A shared picture is a visual copy of the note.
Very long content has output size limits. If you reach one, switch to pages or text sharing rather than shrinking everything until it is difficult to read. Note images include Noppima's brand mark.
